Writer's picture: Sunshine Senior PlacementSunshine Senior Placement

At Sunshine Senior Placement we work with senior living communities to pair the recommended level of care from our initial assessment. This means we can select the best options that fit the level of care needed.

We breakdown the levels of care into five categories:

Level 1 - no additional care required for daily needs

  • no medical issues

  • fully functional without help

  • no caregivers required

  • can socialize

Level 2 - minimal assistance need for daily needs

  • some help with medical issues

  • able to function with small amount of help

  • one caregiver required

  • can socialize

Level 3 - Low to moderate assistance needed for daily needs

  • will require more help with medical issues

  • able to function with mild amount of help

  • one caregiver required

  • can socialize with minimal help

Level 4 - moderate to high assistance needed for daily needs

  • will require moderate help with medical issues

  • able to function with high amount of help

  • one or more caregivers required

  • can socialize with moderate help

Level 5 - high to full assistance needed for daily needs

  • maximum help needed with medical issues

  • not able to function without help

  • two or more caregivers required

  • not able to socialize
